NEWSBy Ray Ampoloquio October 31, 2022Xbox really wants Call of Duty to stay on the PlayStation platform
Phil Spencer, the current CEO of Microsoft Gaming, is really adamant about keeping Call of Duty on the PlayStation series.
In his latest attempt, Spencer revealed that Call of Duty will continue to be available to play on Sony's consoles for "as long as there's a PlayStation out there to ship to."
Spencer also used Microsoft's best-selling video game title, Minecraft, as an example.
Minecraft is available in every platform reasonably known to man, so it stands to reason that Call of Duty could enjoy similar privileges.
Ultimately, we'll know more if Spencer can stay true to his word as soon as the buyout of Activision Blizzard pushes through.
Spencer is optimistic that the $70 billion deal will be closed in June next year.
