NEWSBy Ray Ampoloquio November 11, 2022343 Industries reveals reason for Halo Infinite co-op split-screen cancelation
343 Industries just confirmed it was almost close to finishing the split-screen co-op for Halo Infinite before canceling it.
The gist is that 343 didn't have the time and the resources to complete split-screen co-op for Halo Infinite.
If it's any consolation, split-screen co-op might still come to Halo Infinite but that's if the studio can find a way to make it happen.
Given all the issues that Halo Infinite are facing right now, it's not at the top of 343's priorities.
Halo Infinite has lost hundreds of thousands of players since it launched last year.
With the beta of Forge mode, a free battle pass, campaign co-op, and so much more content already in the game, things are looking bright for Halo Infinite.
