Things aren't going so well over at the ZA/UM, the people behind one of 2019's best video games, Disco Elysium.
According to reports, ZA/UM had "involuntarily" fired the key individuals that were behind the first game: Robert Kurvitz, Aleksander Rostov, and Helen Hindpere.
Rostov later made a statement online where he confirmed his departure and that of the two other key members of Disco Elysium.
A spokesperson from ZA/UM also released statements to a lot of different publications to confirm that work on the Disco Elysium sequel is going well.
While it's fair to give ZA/UM the benefit of the doubt, you can't help but worry if Disco Elysium 2 will retain its core essence after the trio left.
We're curious how ZA/UM will handle Disco Elysium 2 since people now expect a lot from the sequel.
